Shame

It’s such a shame, when the blue sky turns grey,
It’s such a shame, by the time you come out, the show ends.
The water from beneath slips away
It’s such a shame, heart that aches.
Love that turns to dust,
And lungs that breath the remains.
Petals shed, winters start,
Happiness in a nutshell case.
It’s such a shame, there’s nobody left to chase the rains.
