Story Of A Survivor

There’s a story that you hide

You keep an armor always by your side

Maybe there is insecurity

Or a fear of vulnerability

But you guard yourself high

With meticulous words and camouflaged smile

There is so much of ray that you never see

You just drape your future round your past

And never let your worries flee.

Dreams that were named inconsequential

By the eyes that judged,

And those hopes that were broken

By the crowd that fudged,

That past is long gone and paved journey new

And the future is uncertain and yet to stew

What is fresh and promising is the present

So learn to live your life free

And never let your fears glee.
